My next ABC’s of CPS workshop will be held at Little Beans Cafe on October 6th. This workshop will cover the basics of both preschool and kindergarten applications for Chicago Public Schools.

Little Beans is a charming, interactive play space and cafe. They will be offering supervised play for an extra fee. Call or visit Little Beans’ website to RSVP.

Monday September 12th at 6:30pm

Monday October 10 at 7:00pm

This 2-hour seminar is for parents whose children will be turning three (or four) between now and September 1st, 2012. If you’re overwhelmed, confused, and intimidated by the application process for Chicago Public Schools, this session will help you cut through the mess!

I’ll be covering Preschool for All, Tuition-Based PreK, and Magnet Preschools. I’ll tell you when, how, and where to apply.

The group will be small, so you’ll have lots of time to ask about specific schools!

Location: 4609 N. Wolcott Ave., Chicago, IL (free parking under the Brown Line EL tracks)

Cost: $20 per person
