I came here to Chicago from San Antonio for graduate school in the late 90’s. My plan was to finish my PsyD here and move back to Texas. But you know what John Lennon said about life happening while you’re making other plans? That’s pretty much what happened. 12 years, one marriage, and two children later, I am still here in Chicago.

I have made my peace with winter. Although it’s not the winter that really gets me. I actually like winter. It’s the spring that I find hard!

I started my career as a Child & Family Therapist and I do keep my license current. At the moment, however, I am chiefly working as an Independent School Choice Consultant.

I live in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago and have two little girls who keep me busy.
